The highly dynamic HEC 500 D XXL horizontal machining center meets all the requirements for further reducing production costs, increasing machining quality and providing environmentally-friendly production to an outstanding degree. The key feature is a reduction in non-productive idle times and higher output of components per time unit.
The high level of volume that can be loaded from the pallets (max. 800 kg) and the extremely large working area set new standards for use. Advanced dynamics in traverse speeds, in work speeds and in changing tools and components create supreme conditions for reducing manufacturing costs.

- Comfortable component handling with an NC rotary table for complete and multi-side machining, component set-up work in the clamping area during the main operating times and an automatic pallet change with hydraulic rotating/piston changer.
- Component handling with a chain or series chain magazine with up to 240 storage slots and dynamic tool changes in chip-to-chip-times of 2.2 to 2.5 s.
